"Supposedly one of the top recent movies of 2011, but still has some T2 messiness."
Autobots and Decepticons are once again at war, for a Cybertronian spacecraft that holds an ancient but powerful technology.
Some movie reviews say forget the 2nd ever existed. Couldn't agree more. This new movie is noticeably better than the disastrous 2nd movie, but still doesn't has as much of the 1st movie's WOW factor.
The great parts:
- Battle scenes are never as awesome and on a huge scale.
- Great to see Optimus with "the trailer" (YEAH)
- Sideswipe and the other new characters have more screen time.- Leonard Nimoy a.k.a. Spock as the voice of Sentinel Prime.
Now the bad parts:
- Some scenes make no sense as they progress (Barricade who supposedly died in the 1st movie returns)
- Megatron is no longer the badass, replaced by Sentinel Prime (less screen time too)
- Shockwave has instead a minor role.
- Megan Fox still a better actress.
- Focusing too much on the human characters than the robots.
- Sam screaming like a girl (highway scene)
